Frequently Asked Questions

Minimum order quantity is 300 for a CD or DVD replication run and 50 for a CD or DVD short run.

By using the "Get in touch to place an order" button located next to most products. You will then be taken to the Order Details page, where you will be able to fill in all relevant information about your order. You can also call us at 650.344-0456. We will then set up an order in our system and email you a link to an UPLOAD folder for your art files and audio master. For audio we prefer to receive a DDP master. If you only have individual WAVE files, please upload those (they should be 44.1-16 bit WAVEs with pauses between tracks included at the end of files). Please label your audio files with a number prefix (01, 02, 03, etc.) and use the full name of the song titles, including desired capitalization.

Standard turnaround time is 10-12 business days. Rush orders are available for an additional fee. UPS Ground shipping times depend on your location.

Yes — a free barcode is included with every CD, DVD, Vinyl, and Blu-Ray order. Whether you're selling through retail stores, online platforms, or distributors, your product will be ready to scan right out of the box.

Absolutely — we stand behind every product we manufacture. In the unlikely event that your order does not meet your expectations due to a production defect, we will address it promptly. Please visit our Terms and Conditions page for complete information.

Every CD, Vinyl Record and DVD deserves an eye-catching and professional looking package. At Sienna Digital, we can create that special design for you. Along with your pictures we will use images and textures from our extensive stock library to enhance and complete the design. We are also very good at listening to your requests and suggestions, and throughout the design process you will be in close contact with the design team to assure a smooth workflow.

Absolutely. If you have your own designer, simply download our templates to ensure your files are set up correctly, and send us a press-quality PDF at 300 dpi resolution or higher. We will review your files for accuracy and send you PDF files for approval. Hard copy proofs of your printed materials are available at an extra charge and add 3-4 business days to your production schedule.

To prepare your artwork for CD, Vinyl or DVD manufacturing, download our design templates, design in CMYK or Greyscale at 300 dpi or higher resolution. Make sure to include "bleed" and keep important elements like text inside the "safe" area, as indicated in our templates. Save your final artwork as a press-quality PDF (PDF/X-4).

Replication is the factory process for runs of 300 or more — your video data is stamped into the disc during pressing, producing a retail-quality DVD identical to what you find in stores. Duplication burns content onto recordable DVD-R media and is used for shorter runs of 50–300 units. Both produce excellent results. CSS copy protection is available on replicated DVDs.

Yes. We offer both DVD-5 (single layer, up to 4.7GB) and DVD-9 (dual layer, up to 8.5GB) replication. DVD-9 is the right choice for feature films, extended content, or multiple bonus features that exceed the capacity of a single layer disc. Please mention which format you need when you get in touch.

We offer the full range of professional DVD packaging: standard DVD cases with booklets, Digipaks, eco-jackets, eco-wallets, and premium Digibooks with up to 110-page booklets. For multi-disc sets we also offer multi-disc Digipaks and box sets. Browse our DVD products pages for photos and pricing, or download our templates to compare formats.

Yes — CSS (Content Scramble System) copy protection is available on replicated DVDs (300+ units). This is the same protection used on commercial DVDs. Please mention this requirement when placing your order. Copy protection is not available on duplicated DVD-Rs.

We prefer to receive a DDP master, but you can also send a disc image file — either a .ISO or a VIDEO_TS folder structure containing your authored DVD. Make sure your DVD is authored and fully tested before sending, as we manufacture from the files as submitted. If you need help with authoring, please get in touch and we can point you in the right direction.
