Minimum order quantity is 300 for CD or DVD replication runs and 50 for CD or DVD short runs. Minimum Vinyl order quantity is 100. Minimum USB quantity is 50.

By using the "Get in touch to place an order" button located next to most products. You will then be taken to the Order Details page, where you will be able to fill in all relevant information about your order. You can also call us at 650.344-0456. We will then set up an order in our system and email you a link to an UPLOAD folder for your art files and audio master. For audio we prefer to receive a DDP master. If you only have individual WAVE files, please upload those (they should be 44.1-16 bit WAVEs with pauses between tracks included at the end of files). Please label your audio files with a number prefix (01, 02, 03, etc.) and use the full name of the song titles, including desired capitalization.

Standard turnaround time is 10-12 business days for CDs and DVDs and 5-7 weeks for vinyl pressing without test pressings. Turn times for vinyl orders with test pressings is 8-10 weeks. Turn times for vinyl orders are estimates and not guaranteed. We recommend that you do not schedule release events until you have received your vinyl order. Rush orders are available for CD and DVD products for an additional fee. No rush orders available for vinyl products. UPS Ground shipping times depend on your location.

Yes — a free barcode is included with every CD, DVD, Vinyl, and Blu-Ray order. Whether you're selling through retail stores, online platforms, or distributors, your product will be ready to scan right out of the box.

We do not offer distribution, but every product we manufacture is retail-ready — professionally packaged, barcoded and wrapped, to meet the requirements of major distributors and online retailers.

Absolutely. While streaming dominates day-to-day listening, physical media continues to thrive as a premium format. Streaming pays fractions of a cent per play, while a single CD or vinyl sale at a show puts real money in an artist's pocket. Beyond economics, physical media creates a deeper connection — fans who own your record are fans for life. A physical release gives your music a tangible presence that a playlist simply cannot replicate.

Physical releases give artists creative control over the full experience — the artwork, the liner notes, the packaging. A well-designed CD or vinyl record is a complete artistic statement, not just a collection of audio files. In a world of infinite digital content, a beautifully packaged record stands out. For independent artists especially, physical releases offer something streaming cannot — a direct, high-margin transaction with a fan. Selling a CD or vinyl at a show or through your website puts the full sale price in your hands, with no intermediary taking a cut. It's also a marketing tool: a physical product gets noticed in ways that a Spotify link does not.

Absolutely — we stand behind every product we manufacture. In the unlikely event that your order does not meet your expectations due to a production defect, we will address it promptly. Please visit our Terms and Conditions page for complete information.

Yes — we are passionate about mastering! With over 5,000 mastered albums over 40 years and across every genre imaginable, we have the experience to make your release a success. Mastering is about passion for sound, emotions, and art — putting the finishing touches on your recordings, so that listeners can enjoy the music at its fullest. Sienna Digital is also an Apple Digital Masters approved provider. New clients are welcome to request a free sample master of one song — treated with the same attention and dedication as any regular project.

High-quality, lossless WAV or AIFF files, ideally at 24-bit or 32 bit (16 bit is OK) and the original session's sample rate (44.1kHz, 48kHz, 88.2kHz, 96kHz, 176.4kHz, 192kHz). Do not send MP3, AAC, WMA, or OGG files for mastering.

Every CD, Vinyl Record and DVD deserves an eye-catching and professional looking package. At Sienna Digital, we can create that special design for you. Along with your pictures we will use images and textures from our extensive stock library to enhance and complete the design. We are also very good at listening to your requests and suggestions, and throughout the design process you will be in close contact with the design team to assure a smooth workflow.

Simply download our templates to ensure your files are set up correctly, and send us a press-quality PDF at 300 dpi resolution or higher. We will review your files for accuracy and send you PDF files for approval. Hard copy proofs of your printed materials are available for runs of 300 CDs/DVDs or more at an extra charge and add 3-4 business days to your production schedule.

To prepare your artwork for CD, Vinyl or DVD manufacturing, download our design templates, design in CMYK or Greyscale at 300 dpi or higher resolution. Make sure to include "bleed" and keep important elements like text inside the "safe" area, as indicated in our templates. Save your final artwork as a press-quality PDF (PDF/X-4).

We accept all major credit cards.

Replication is the professional manufacturing process used for runs of 300 or more. Your audio data is stamped directly into the disc during pressing, producing a factory-quality CD that meets retail standards. Duplication is used for smaller runs of 50–300 units — data is burned onto a recordable disc. Both processes produce excellent results; replication is simply more cost-effective at higher quantities.

It depends on how you plan to sell them. For an independent artist playing live shows, 100–300 CDs is a practical starting point — enough to last a touring season without overcommitting. If you are selling through distributors or online retail alongside live shows, 500–1,000 gives you more flexibility and a lower per-unit cost. We are happy to talk through your specific situation — just get in touch.

Digipaks and eco-wallets are the most popular choices among independent artists because they look and feel premium without a high price tag. Jewel cases are the most recognizable format and still very popular. Jewel cases can also accommodate a larger booklet. If you are looking for something special, we offer Digibooks and Clamboxes, hardcover packages that really stand out at the merch table. We recommend looking at our templates to get a feel for the formats before you decide.

Yes. Every disc we manufacture includes a free barcode, and our packaging meets the requirements of major retail chains, distributors, and online platforms including Amazon and CD Baby.

Yes — we ship finished orders anywhere in the United States. We can also accommodate international shipping for orders over 300 CDs/DVDs
